Ali'i Palms is ideally located on Ali'i Drive, which runs along the shore of the west side of the Big Island. It is approximately 5 miles from Kailua Kona town and 3 miles from Keauhou (golfers’ haven). There are two great beaches on Ali'i Drive, one for boogie / body surfers and the other is great for snorkeling. The immediate area has shops, restaurants, sites, and a host of other attractions.

Across the street is "shoreline" access where green sea turtles can be found feeding and sunning themselves. A five minute walk (10 minutes Hawaiian time) will take you to Magic Sands Beach, popular with Body / Boogie Boarders. Continue your journey and you will pass several historical sites and come to Kahalu'u beach, a preserve for the honu, sea turtles, and the best snorkel beach on the Island. Next door, at The Veranda you will find nightly, local musicians 5 days a week from-9pm. There are golf courses and a small shopping village as you head south. Ali'i is close to grocery, drug, jewelry, eateries, and more.

Heading north, approximately 200 feet will take you to Ali'i Gardens, the home of 14 local artist and crafters, selling their wares 4 days a week. If you continue you will end up in Kona town. Here you will find restaurants, shops, more shops, historical sites, and a friendly game of volley ball. There is so much to see and experience on the biggest of all Islands, The Big Island!

When you stay at Ali’i Palms, you know you are in Hawaii, whether you are in the home or out! Ali'i Palms is decorated in Island Style, using durable fabrics, so you can truly relax in great surrounding and do it comfortably. The living room, dining room, kitchen are in one area to promote social interaction, if you are by yourselves, or entertaining guest. It opens to the lanai which faces the ocean and has view to the right, middle and to the left as well. Even though it this is the upper story of a 2 unit home, you are ensured the utmost in privacy.

Living room is decorated Hawaiian style using durable fabric, so you can sit or lounge at ease and watch the view as above. Kitchen and dining room are in the same open area for maximum social interaction.

Everything you need, from pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils (do not use ones on wall, please!), toaster, blender, and more. You will find a CD / radio player along with Hawaiian CD's and other styles of music. All bed and bath linens provided. There are many games and a range of reading material. TV available upon request (many guest have enjoyed doing without the connection to the "real world")

Location, Location, Location! Ali'i Palms is located on a quaint drive along the ocean. Watch the joggers and bikers go by, sunsets, or just look at the blue-ness of Hawaiian Waters.

Ali'i Palms offers comfortable surroundings at a great price. Tropical decor lends an air of Hawaii inside while you gaze at the ocean outside. The plumier scent is ever present as you leave or return to Ali'i Palms. This unit is the upper level of a family home. It is fully functional as its own unit and offers the utmost in privacy. Even though you have neighbors, you will never know they exist due to the lay of the land and landscaping. Daily joggers, walkers, biker, and surfer travel the royal road which is 50 yards from the house, reminding you that you are in a resort in the pacific.

The main living area houses the kitchen, dining and living room in one space, offering you the ability to socialize and interact with your family, while taking in the view. If you need some space and solitude, retreat to one of the ample sized rooms, each with its own sitting area as well as a queen size bed. The Ginger Room has its own bath, while the Pineapple room has a view of the mountains.
